Client: Contra Costa County Department of Public Works
Location: Dutch Slough, Contra Costa County, California
LSA is responsible for water quality monitoring during construction of the Bethel Island Road replacement bridge over Dutch Slough in Contra Costa County. LSA monitors in-water construction activities and, if discharges are observed, tests receiving waters for turbidity and settleable solids to ensure compliance with conditions and limits set forth in the project's Water Quality Certification. Water samples are collected and tested at the construction site in a mobile laboratory that is outfitted, maintained, and operated by LSA. LSA prepares and submits reports on monitoring observations and testing results to the County project manager.
